Michael Kraft
Michael leads the ESAT research division Micro- and Nano-systems and has more than 20 years of experience in the design, fabrication and characterization of a wide range of micro- and nanosystems and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) sensors and devices. He is in charge of the Cleanroom and MEMS activities in the Leuven Nanocentre.
Bart van Duffel
Bart holds a PhD in Surface Chemistry and brings over 20 years of experience across R&D, general management and innovation leadership. Today, as an Innovation Manager, Bart supports three KU Leuven research groups in translating cutting‑edge research into real‑world impact. His work focuses on the valorisation of breakthrough technologies in membrane technology, materials chemistry and MEMS, bridging science, industry, and entrepreneurship.
